This Mothering Sunday at Newbury Manor was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments as families gathered to celebrate the special day with their loved ones. It was a time to pause, reflect, and cherish the bonds that connect us.

Some residents were treated to a beautiful day out, enjoying the air and the company of those they hold dear. Others stayed in, having joyful conversations with family over a cup of tea. Regardless of how the day was spent, each moment was an opportunity to celebrate the importance of family and connection.

Mothering Sunday is more than just about mothers; it’s a chance to honor all the women who make a difference in our lives. It's a celebration of the love and care that surrounds us and we are grateful to witness these heartfelt gatherings at Newbury Manor.

As Kam Kaur, our Home Manager, put it, “This day is about appreciating the strength of the women around us—those who offer support, kindness, and guidance in ways big and small, making our lives richer every day.”
